Hunter Strasser is a Dallas/Fort Worth based guitarist whose playing has been described as thoughtful, dynamic, and inventive. By embracing all aspects of the guitar through effects and experimentation, Hunter has been able to combine both modern and traditional styles in a way that gives him a truly unique voice on the instrument. Hunter attended the South Carolina Fine Arts Center from 2011-2015 with a focus on jazz guitar and music production. In 2015, he moved to Denton, TX to pursue a degree in Jazz Performance at the University of North Texas. Having recently graduated from UNT, Hunter is excited to have the opportunity to help inspire the next generation of musicians through performing and teaching.
